Terms and Conditions
Welcome to La Mer Day Spa. To ensure a peaceful, seamless experience for all guests and to maintain our high standard of care, all visitors and guests are required to adhere to the following policies.
By booking an appointment or purchasing a treatment, spa package or gift certificate, you agree to all terms outlined below.
Cancellation, Rescheduling & No-Show Policy
- 48-Hour Notice Required: We enforce a strict 48-hour cancellation and rescheduling policy.
- Late Cancellations: Any appointment cancelled, changed or rescheduled with less than 48 hours’ notice will incur a charge equal to 50% of the total reserved service cost.
- No-Shows: Failure to arrive for a scheduled appointment without prior notification will result in a 100% charge of the reserved service value.
- Automatic Deductions: Late cancellation and no-show fees will be automatically charged to the payment method on file or deducted directly from any active gift certificate balance.
Arrival Time & Late Check-In
- Early Check-In: Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time to complete required intake forms and begin your relaxation process. Note, it is best to complete the intake forms online through your confirmation email prior to arrival in order to expedite your check-in process.
- Late Arrivals: Your treatment begins promptly at its scheduled time. If you arrive late, your service time will be shortened accordingly to respect the next scheduled guest. The full treatment fee will be applicable.
Environment, Age Restrictions & Accompanied Guests
- Accompanying Guests Policy: Due to limited waiting area capacity and to maintain a quiet, intimate setting, we are unable to accommodate non-serviced guests. Only clients receiving a scheduled treatment are permitted in the spa waiting area and facilities.
- Minimum Age Requirement & Child Policy: Children under the age of 16 are not permitted in the spa unless receiving an authorized service accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Unattended children are strictly prohibited.
- Cell Phone Etiquette: To preserve our serene ambiance, all mobile devices, tablets and electronic equipment must be placed on silent prior to entry. Phone calls are not permitted in treatment rooms or lounge areas.
Spa Packages & Multi-Treatment Bookings
- Individual Package Restriction: Spa packages purchased for individuals are strictly non-shareable and must be redeemed entirely by the single named guest. Package treatments cannot be split between two or more people.
- Couple’s Packages & Services: Services or spa packages specifically designated as ‘Couple’s Treatments’ are the only exceptions and are designed for two guests to enjoy together.
- Same-Day Redemption Required: All services included within a spa package are designed as a single cohesive experience and must be redeemed on the same day during a single visit.
- No Partial Splits: Package treatments cannot be split, broken up or rescheduled across multiple days or visits.
- Unused Treatments: Any portion of a package declined or unused at the time of your appointment is non-refundable.
Gift Certificate Terms & Conditions
- Validity: Gift certificates are valid for 1 year from the date of purchase.
- Usage Scope: Valid for spa services only. Gift certificates cannot be used for retail product purchases or gratuities (tips).
- Redemption Rules: Gift certificates are non-refundable, non-shareable between multiple guests and cannot be redeemed for cash.
- Single-User Redemption: A gift certificate may be transferred/re-gifted prior to use, but must be redeemed in its entirety by a single individual during their visit.
- Verification Required: The physical or digital gift certificate must be presented at appointment check-in or full payment will be required at standard rates.

Physical gift and E-gift certificates are subject to our standard cancellation policy.
Payments, Online QuickPay & Gratuities
- Accepted Payments: We accept major credit cards, debit cards, cash and official La Mer Day Spa gift certificates.
- Online Pre-Payment: Pre-payments can be requested via our secure payment system by emailing info.lamerdayspa@gmail.com. Pre-payments are subject to our standard cancellation policy.
- Gratuity / Tipping Policy: Cash tips are deeply appreciated and will be given directly to your therapist. Tips can also be paid via credit card at check-out. Gift certificates cannot be utilized to pay gratuities.
Health, Safety & Personal Belongings
- Medical Precautions & Intake: Please consult with your physician prior to booking if you are pregnant, have allergies, medical conditions, or are taking prescription medications. You are required to accurately complete our health intake form prior to receiving any treatment.
- Guest Responsibility & Health Updates: It is the sole responsibility of the guest to inform our staff of any pre-existing conditions, changes to their medical status, new medications, physical limitations, or health updates prior to every treatment, both current and future bookings, regardless of what was recorded on their initial intake form. La Mer Day Spa assumes no liability for undisclosed health conditions or uncommunicated medical changes.
- Valuables & Lost Items: La Mer Day Spa is not responsible for lost or damaged personal belongings or jewelry. We strongly advise leaving valuable items at home or keeping them securely with you at all times.
